Mumbai: State owned petroleum major, Hindustan Petroleum Corp Ltd (HPCL) and Mumbai-based infrastructure major Shapoorji Pallonji is all set to a joint venture pact for liquid gas (LNG) terminal on Gujarat coast at a cost of about Rs5,000 crore.
HPCL Chairman and Managing Director S Roy Choudhury expressed that the oil major and SP Ports Pvt Ltd, a unit of Shapoorji Pallonji Group, will set up the liquefied natural gas (LNG) import terminal at Chhara in Gujarat’s Junagadh district through a 50:50 joint venture, “We will next week sign a joint venture agreement,” he said.
